Franklin is the Williamson County seat, and the countryside around it — out toward Leiper's Fork, along the Natchez Trace and down the back roads south of town — is some of the best-known horse and farm property in Tennessee. The buildings out here are expected to look right as well as work right, and that's a standard we're glad to be held to.

Around Franklin we're asked about horse barns with stalls, tack and hay storage; open hay barns that are posts and a roof; custom shops and garages for the truck, the tractor and the collection; and barndominiums and guest quarters on family land. Post-frame is the right structure for most of it, and we'll build it with the doors, trim, wainscot and cupolas that make it belong on the property.
