Centerville, Tennessee
Centerville is the seat of Hickman County, sitting on the Duck River where Highway 48, Highway 50 and Highway 100 come together. It's one of the more rural corners of Middle Tennessee — cattle, hay, timber and long stretches of river bottom — and we've worked across it, from the north end of the county down to Centerville.
Out here the buildings are working buildings. Hay barns that are mostly roof, equipment sheds with a lean-to on one side, horse barns and run-ins, and shops with enough door height to get a loader through. Post-frame is the right way to build nearly all of them: fewer parts, less concrete, and a building that goes up in weeks.
